Rush Award Production: 2-3 Day Turnaround Explained
Rush production compresses standard 5–10 day turnaround to 2–3 business days for an upcharge of 25–50%. Available on most crystal, acrylic, and glass awards. Best suited to single-recipient pieces with vector logo files and approved inscription text in hand at order time.
When rush is the right call
Event date moved forward and standard turnaround won't make it.
Last-minute recipient added to a program (organization decided to recognize someone after the original order was placed).
Replacement piece needed because the original was damaged in shipping or had a typo.
Awards ceremony scheduled with less than 2 weeks of lead time.
What rush costs
Rush upcharge is typically 25–50% of the base piece cost, depending on:
Piece complexity (a simple crystal block is easier to rush than a layered acrylic sculpture).
Volume (rushing 1 piece is easier than rushing 25 — multi-piece rush adds 50–75%).
Material availability (some specialty art glass needs to be sourced and adds 1–2 days regardless).
Rush shipping is separate — we'll quote overnight or 2-day shipping costs based on your destination.
Maximizing rush success
Send a vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF). Low-res or raster logos may need redraw time that eats into the rush window.
Have the inscription final at order time. Edits during the proof stage push the timeline.
Approve the proof within 4 hours of receiving it. Rush only works if both sides move fast.
Pick a stock silhouette when possible — custom shapes requiring laser-cutting may not be rush-eligible.
Tell us the actual event date, not a padded date. We work backward from the real ceremony day.
When rush isn't possible
Some pieces can't be rushed — sculptural art glass (hand-blown stage is pace-limited), highly custom multi-layer builds, and pieces requiring specialty sourcing we don't stock.
If we can't meet your date with a rush of your first-choice piece, we'll suggest an equivalent piece that we can. Often there's a similar silhouette in a different material that ships in time.
