How Long Do Custom Awards Take to Produce?

Day 0: Brief submitted (logo, recipient list, inscription, deadline).

Day 1–2: Design proof returned for your approval.

Day 2–4: Proof revisions if needed (most projects approve at first or second round).

Day 4–9: Laser engraving, polishing, packaging.

Day 9–10: Shipment leaves our shop.

Standard ground shipping adds 2–5 business days depending on your location.

Rush production compresses the engraving + finishing stages to 2–3 business days. Available on most crystal, acrylic, and glass awards for an upcharge of 25–50% depending on the piece and volume.

Rush works best when the design is straightforward (single recipient, standard inscription, vector logo provided). Complex multi-layer builds and unusual silhouettes may not be rush-eligible — we'll tell you in the initial brief response.

Worst-case rush turnaround: 24–48 hours for emergency replacements (we've done this for ceremonies where the original recipient changed last-minute).

Programs with multiple recipients typically run 4–6 weeks end-to-end:

Week 1: Brief, sketch, design refinement.

Week 2: Proof approval, recipient-list confirmation.

Week 3–5: Production (per-recipient engraving extends the engraving stage).

Week 5–6: Quality check, packaging, shipment.

For event-driven programs (year-end awards, anniversaries, conferences), give us 8–10 weeks of lead time if possible. Working backward from your event date is what we plan against.

Logo files in low resolution or non-vector format (we may need to redraw before engraving — adds 1–2 days).

Approval delays at the proof stage (each day waiting for approval pushes the ship date by a day).

Per-recipient personalization at volume (spreadsheet of 50+ unique inscriptions extends engraving by 3–5 days).

Custom silhouettes requiring laser-cutting (adds 2–3 days vs stock shapes).
